Book a call

RNC Interiors is an interior design and styling studio in Metro Detroit. They asked for a redesign that kept their site’s shape: the same 13 pages at the same addresses. We rebuilt every one of them around 41 photos of their own projects, with forms for enquiries, bookings and gift cards.

Understanding the Existing Site

RNC Interiors had a WordPress site with 13 pages: home, about, services, gallery, portfolio, a styles page with four styles under it, contact, bookings and a gift card page.

The brief was clear. Keep that sitemap exactly, and redesign everything on it.

The Challenge

Interior design sells on pictures. The new site had to let RNC’s own rooms do the talking, on a phone as much as on a desktop.

What it needed:

  • Their own work - 41 photos of real RNC projects, all hosted on the site itself.
  • Four styles, clearly shown - Modern, contemporary, traditional and transitional, each with a page of its own.
  • Three ways to say yes - An enquiry form, a booking form and a gift card form.

13 pages in, 13 pages out. Every address from the old site kept, every page redesigned around the studio’s own projects.

Our Approach

Keep the map, change everything on it.

  • Phase 1: Keep the sitemap
  • Phase 2: Let the photos lead
  • Phase 3: Make it easy to book

Phase 1 : Keep the sitemap

Every page of the old site kept its place and its address. The redesign changed the look, not the map.

Phase 2 : Let the photos lead

The home page runs ten sections: a full-bleed hero video, a marquee band, a welcome, the services with a photo that follows the cursor on desktop, a "Let’s get started" timeline, the four styles, the "Philocalist" band, a "Be inspired" film strip, a quote banner and a scrolling call to action.

Phase 3 : Make it easy to book

Enquiries, bookings and gift cards each got a form of their own, laid out for a phone first.

The Styles

Modern, contemporary, traditional and transitional each have a page, all built from one template.

On a desktop the four styles open as an accordion gallery that widens the one you point at. On a phone they become cards you swipe through.

The Booking Form

The bookings page takes contact details and an amount, picked from a row of buttons from $150 to $5,000.

The contact form asks for the address, city, preferred style, budget and timeline, so the first call can start with the details. The gift card form takes who it is from, who it is for and a value of $149 or $500.

Where It Stands

The redesign is built and running on a preview link. It moves to rncinteriors.com at go-live.
