Book a call

JH1 Homes , the JH1 Team at Compass, buys, sells and renovates homes across Seattle and the Puget Sound. Their site ran on Luxury Presence, a platform built for agents. We designed and built a 10-page replacement around one line of theirs: The one call to make.

Understanding the Existing Site

JH1 Homes had a 49-page site on Luxury Presence. We kept a full copy for reference, then designed the new site from a fresh brief, page by page.

One thing stood out on the old site: it listed three different phone numbers.

The Challenge

The team does four different jobs: cash offers for homes sold as-is, listing with Compass and its Concierge programme, flips and renovation, and investing. Each is a different conversation with a different seller.

What the site had to do:

  • Split the four paths - A page each for selling, concierge, investing and projects.
  • Show the work - Renovations shown as before and after, not described.
  • Ask for one thing - A free home valuation, one short form away.

Our Approach

Ten designed pages first, then the build.

  • Phase 1: Design from a fresh brief
  • Phase 2: Let the homes do the talking
  • Phase 3: End every page in a form

Phase 1 : Design from a fresh brief

Home, sell, concierge, invest, projects, neighborhoods, team, home valuation, contact and terms. Every page was designed before a line of code.

Phase 2 : Let the homes do the talking

A parallax photo hero, two before-and-after sliders on the home page and a project gallery you can filter.

Phase 3 : End every page in a form

Home valuation, cash offer, exclusive listings and contact each have a short form of their own.

Drag to See the Difference

Renovation is easier to show than to describe. The home page sets two before-and-after photos under a handle you drag across, so a seller sees what a renovation does to a house in one move.

The Valuation Form

The home valuation form asks for four things: the address, name, phone and email.

The cash offer form on the sell page adds a box for property details. Both are one screen long.

Where It Stands

The new site is built and running on a preview link. jh1homes.com moves over at go-live.
